SMAN 3 Bandung has an LDKS program, "Basic Student Leadership Training" (LDKS), or Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Siswa, the program aimed at enhancing students' leadership abilities, collaborative skills, personal growth, and dicpline. This comprehensive program, held at Pusdikajen ditajenad jl. panorama 1 no 46, involves a range of seminars, exercises, and activities to foster communication, problem-solving, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills among students.

At LDKS, students from grade 10 are immersed in various interactive sessions, including team-building activities, role-playing games, and martial arts training. The curriculum covers essential topics such as goal-setting, delegation, public speaking, time management, and ethical leadership. Despite the strict rules there, such as not being allowed to use phone, must move swiftly. and for male students they must be bald, the student find the program enriching and enjoyable.

The program is facilitated by kind soldiers who impart valuable lessons, making LDKS the most exciting program at the school. Despite initial annoyance with student council involvement, participants ultimately benefit from increased consistency, discipline, adherence to rules, and a stronger sense of camaraderie. SMAN 3 Bandung extends gratitude to Pusdikajen for the transformative experience.
